I have a 6A model, the old grey one. The pots are scratchy and they need replacing.
Otherwise it works fine.
I know very little about electronics-
Is the same kind of potentiometer used for both tone and gain?
Where is the best place to get them?

Thanks
Andy

Yes I'll reach out to them Erv.
I believe they're 500k that I need.

That is correct for their foot volume controls but I'm not so sure about the MatchBox. Very Happy

I replaced mine in a 7a matchbox with 500k potentiometer from a aftermarket supplier. They come in audio taper and linear taper. The original tone pot was audio taper of standard size. The gain was no longer available and I used a linear pot of questionable quality that I'm not happy with. I will be replacing them with better pots soon. It's my belief that they both should be linear pots in 500k unless someone can convince me otherwise.
