What year is this Steel Guitar?

Good morning everyone. I have been given the task to work on a steel guitar from a lady from my home town. It belonged to her late husband and she asked me if I could find out how old it was. It's an Emmons D10. Legrand. I found the serial number and did some digging but couldn't come up with anything. So I'm reaching out to you for some help. Robert, off hand I'd say late 80's. My Legrande 1153 L, is a 93 !

Thank you John for your reply. The guitar is in really good shape. I was rather surprised when I went to pick it up. This is the first Emmons I've worked on. they sure are different from my Mullen. I'll pass on this information to the owner. Have a blessed day sir. Robert
