It seems all the string dealers are out of my favorite strings, D'Addario 490 Pro Steels. I heard rumor they were discontinued. Does anyone know? |

You'll probably never break a string on a changer finger with NYXL, I abuse them like crazy on my electric guitars with floyd rose trems. _________________ Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous; praise is meet for the upright. Give praise to the Lord with the harp, chant unto Him with the ten-stringed psaltery. Sing unto Him a new song, chant well unto Him with jubilation. For the word of the Lord is true, and all His works are in faithfulness. The Lord loveth mercy and judgement; the earth is full of the mercy of the Lord.

According to a representative with D'Addario:
Hello,
Thank you for your inquiry,
I'm sorry to say that we discontinued them.
Here is what we currently offer (they are reinforced by the way).

Like many others… I too have switched my steel to the NYXL’s and absolutely love the tone, sustain and especially how long they last. Ive had good luck with the Live Steel Strings and Jagwire as well but my Zum Hybrid Loves the NYXL’s. _________________ St. Blues 1984 "Holy Grail"
