Just learned of the death of Tricia May, a dear friend to me, and my wife, Elan Robinson. I played guitar and pedal steel guitar in her band, "Tricia May and Calico" mid-1980s in So. California. We were the house band at the Galleon Room in the Orchid Bowl, Goleta, near Santa Barbara, CA. Trish was a great singer, a real crowd pleaser, her positive energy making it fun for the band and crowd alike. Here's Trish, expecting Elena, still laying it down! She really knew how to work a room, and always got 'em dancing. That's my fiance, Elan (now my wife of 36 years) bottom right, with the other dancers. I LOVED performing with Trish. Sorry to learn of her death. Her memory is a blessing that I will hold in my heart, always.
