A friend recently gave me a beautiful Jackson U12 guitar. I really not all that interested in learning it and would like to pass it along to someone who would. I wont take any money for it as it was given to me, but I would consider a trade for an S10 guitar. Please pm me for pics and details.
thanks !

Daniel Stein has been seeking a trade for a 12, for many moons .. has a special looking Mullen S10. He is in MD. Wonder if he will spot your kind offer coming up on a Super Bowl event….☺️

My bad…I was thinking you were BOTH in MD. He’s waaaay south, and Boston is waaaay up, & out East. D’uh

Just a thought - but it could be a good idea to donate this to some kind of organization/non-profit that helps get instruments in the hands of people who couldn’t otherwise afford them. Here’s one I found from a quick google - I have no clue if there are others around, just sorta thinking out loud: https://hungryformusic.org/

Thanks, I’d like to give it to someone who will actually learn how to play it. Ideally someone local so I don’t have to ship but thanks for the suggestion !

I am going to make a donation to the forum for this post now and then ask the new owner (once i find him or her) to also make a donation to the forum. thanks!

I have a good friend whom I’ve been trying to get into steel for years. He was just back and was playing my su12 Franklin and my su Williams. He is a guitar tec in Washington st and has besides playing a great dobro and a 6th tuning 6string lap also plays a really nice guitar. I need to get him into a su12 because he already understands the theory. He’s light on funds so I would be willing to come pick it up, drive it to the state of Washington and through $1000 donation to the forum. I don’t have any guitars to trade that you’d be interested in but u said that wasn’t a kill joy on the deal. I do have a ‘61 pink National short neck electric I don’t play in primo condition but would hate to get rid of it as it’s a classic even though I don’t play. Well that’s my pitch we could even send the money into the forum together.
