So.. my Carter S 10 was built 1" under standard.
I'm not quite that size so... I needed to raise it. (please see the pics)
I'm wondering where I could get the spring loaded clips that hold the bottom of the
pulls to the ball joint.
Any ideas?

I notice this is a 90 deg connection. Is there a source for a 180 deg. |

The newer MSA is the only guitar I know of that uses them, so they would probably have them. |

The picture shows the 90* quick connections.. the only others I have seen are straight thru styles that connect through the bottom of the fitting. I’m not sure what a 180* would be, but if it connects through the side, it would be the 90* style, just turned to the back instead of the side.. am I missing something? |

Yes, the straight style would be 180 degrees, with the hole in the bottom instead of on the side |

Al Briso at Steelguitarcanada.com has all the parts for a Carter lift, and most all repair parts. I just got some sleeves to do a 1" on my Carter. made all the difference _________________ Bryce

Yes to Steel Guitar Canada for Carter parts!
And something for people on the American side of the border to remember: those prices may seem a touch high... but they are obviously in Canadian dollars.
Recently, the exchange rate has favored the US dollar. So, for example, a $45 CAD pedal pull kit (which could be used to add a compensator to an F# string) is only $35.42 in USD. Exchange rate changes a little every day, but Americans usually get a great deal buying from Canada. |
