I was wondering who the steel player is on Jon Pardi’s recording of right or wrong.

The steel playing on it is excellent and the fact that it’s done on the E9 neck is even more impressive. Especially the solo.

That’s Alex Cordell. Looks like Jon used his road band to record this album.

Thanks dudes, it’s me! We tracked that whole record live in his barn in a very very long day. Definitely a unique experience and a highlight of the pandemic if there was one. It sneaks into the live set too every once and awhile.
