The nut on my Rickenbacker is poorly made. The string grooves aren't evenly spaced. I'd like to replace it. It's about 1/2" high and the string spacing should be 3/10". Here's a picture of the original. I don't need an original or an exact copy. I just need something with proper grooves that works well.

b0b -- an option for your consideration:
George Piburn of Georgeboards fabricated a facsimile nut for my Silver Hawaiian via 3D printing based on the original that I sent him.
I don't know that that is ideal or desirable in your case but I thought I'd mention it.

Actually, in the interest of originality and fit, I'd post this in Steel Without Pedals and I'll bet that someone who is good at this would have you send this nut to them and they'd file/clean the edge and cut new slots. I'd gladly do it but I'm not who you're looking for.
