If you're thinking of delving into the "other" neck, A6 tuning is a great option! You'll know most of the open notes from the E9 neck with pedals down. Here's an example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aRWjQZIpXZM

Beautiful. I’ve bought and sold a number of Fender 400+1000s. I do have one now that I had to cob together from parts, make cables, etc. Could you put up your copedent?

Good stuff, Ethan. You get a nice rich, old timey sound from your setup.
I often think of pedals down A6 as a home position on E9. It has become more-so now that I play 12 string and can get a low root on string 11.
