They are 7/16th long and 1/4 diameter. Hole is 1/8th, and off center, as you can see. Allen set screw. Lowes does not have them. McMasters-Carr does not show them. Nor does Grainger. I believe the technical name is "cable stop clamps"
Thanks for any ideas.

we used to use something like this to connect the push rods on radio controled airplanes so you might try a hobby shop

Mc Master Carr has them...but you have to drill the hole for the pull rod, they're listed as stand-offs. I ordered a few awhile back part #92474A444.

I think Bobbe @ Steel Guitar Nashville may have what you want if you don't have a way to drill the hole for the rod.

Yeah, Bobbe's got a full machine shop, it would probably help if you can send him one. Duane Marrs could probably make them too - so could any machinist, but the steel guys are more likely to have the right stuff right on hand. http://www.duanemarrs.com/

Looks like the same part that older MSA guitars use to lock the rods into the bellcranks. Wayne Link sells these doesn't he?

I stopped at a friend's auto supply store and he has them in stock as cable stop clamps. He has three different sizes. They come complete with the hole and set screw and they are brass. He told me that these are commonly in stock at auto supply stores.
