Thoughts on the GoldTone LS8

You folks that are playing the 8 string Gold Tone, are you happy with it? Is the pickup quiet? Plenty of power? Thoughts please. Thanks. Mike C

If it is any help. I owned a LS-6 for a while. Plenty of power but the pickup was noisy. I also had to loosen the bridge in order to re-string. It was not machined very precisely.
