I just picked up the French Flag CMI SD10 that's been floating around for years (at guitar center, no less,) and noticed as I was setting it up that the slip/ball joint on one of the pedal rods has split. Do I hit up CMI (if even possible?) or are they a generic ball/socket rig? They aren't dissimilar from what I've experienced in the past. |

Those are exactly what I'm looking for, Jerry! I did a forum search for CMI, but it really only came up with a few sales post(two of which are this particular steel,) and some tidbits of information. The only difference I noticed is that my rods are threaded, so I suspect it's the first option. I'll have to investigate further once I get home. I'm having a difficult time getting all my pedals to line up and pull to the same depth (totally a feel thing, they pull to the correct pitch.) I suspect these are just worn out, and that slop is causing my issues.
The CMI has the top mounted ball, for sure. |

If your CMI has the top mounted ball, then you need the inline connector like in option 2. |
