This listing is for a lightly used Cremona SV1260.
These are well made, flamed maple and solid spruce top violins.
Here are details from the the Saga site:
* Clarity and volume come with a handcarved, properly graduated, select solid spruce top
* Handcarved and graduated select solid maple sides and neck along with flamed one piece back, assure a focused sound and attack
* Solid maple neck, boxwood fittings, Cremona bridge, D’Addario Prelude strings, VP-14 finetuner, Sacconi-style tailpiece hanger
* High quality, polished ebony fingerboard, nut and saddle
For easy tuning, all strings have fine tuners and the action at the bridge was professionally adjusted for bluegrass/country style playing.
Comes with very good hardshell case and bow.
This would make a nice first or backup violin.
Currently they list for $729 at major retailers.
