I would really like it, if somebody like Chris Scruggs did a comprehensive course on the Lap Steel that went beyond six string tunings. |

I know that Chris himself has occasionally had the time to give lessons. Chris posts on here but I know we'd all love to hear more in a format where has has the room to fully articulate himself at length.
Wouldn't it be great to have access to HIS thoughts on playing in the style of Kayton Roberts, Johnny Sibert, Jerry Byrd, etc. in the form of tablature, video demonstration, or even just more writing? _________________ Commodore S-8

I wrote to Homespun last year suggesting they ask Chris to do a video. Perhaps if more people sent requests they'd think about it.
I don't believe there are any courses explaining how double necks work - I mean to think about both necks as one instrument rather than two. |

I'll produce a video series with Chris or other top professional if I can see enough demand here to be convinced that a quality product can be produced for an acceptable profit. |

Chris is on the road a lot with Marty Stuart and works around Nashville quite a bit on top of that.I emailed Tom Spaulding at Modern Music Masters about a year ago. It was just before the Steel Guitar Camp last August. I inquired about having Chris, Doug Beaumier, Jim Cohen, Eddie Rivers or some other lap, non pedal steel players at the seminar next year. Or perhaps doing a MMM course with Chris or Eddie. He informed that it would possibly be a doable idea for next (2022) year.
