One of the first live country music shows I attended was Stonewall Jackson in the early 60's.It was the first pedal steel I had ever seen and to say I was completely mesmerized by the sound would be an understatement. Does anyone know who the steel player might have been in that time period? |

Ron Elliot has a great story about rescuing Stonewall from drowning in a swimming pool after a show, if you see him ask him to tell you it. |

Wayne Kincaid was from about 12 miles from where I live. I met him playing with Kenny Bigs from Wheeling at a local fair. He played with Stonewall Jackson, May have been in early 1970's. |
