That's a serious amount of fast fluid picking. Wicked job on this. |

Nice sound and mighty fast! I was in Shelby, NC a few months ago visiting the Earl Scruggs museum. Nice area and much better weather than we have up here in the PA frozen tundra. |

Oh my, Silas... That is some serious fast pickin' there! Great job. I will never have that speed I'm afraid but I sure love to hear folks that can/do.
Thanks for sharing! |

Wow, Weldon would surely be proud.
He would always tell me when I asked him about something that he played "Heck, no one can play it as bad as me"
But we know better and know that you can play it every bit as good as Weldon. _________________ AUTHORIZED George L's, Goodrich, Telonics and Peavey Dealer: I have 2 steels and several amps. Sounds pretty good! Weldon would be impressed that someone remembered, much less want to play it.
Thanks for the memory,

Good job Silas. I have that tune in Scotty's Anthology book and tracks I got in the late 70s or 80s, I guess. It's a barnburner. I tried it for a little while, but realized it was above my pay grade. |

To me Weldon was the best at that.
You surely did an extra fine job. It’s a lost art.

I just wanted to recognize Judi for her entry here and say your husband was a hero to many of us here as well an inspiration and model for pedal steel style. I was fortunate to see him on several visits to the Grand Ole Opry during the 90s.
