Everything else considered, that lacquered wood contributes to that Zum a sweet tone. |

Hi JR!
Yes it looks like walnut for sure.
I got some feedback from a couple of forum members who own both early Zum's and more modern Zum's and they indicated they preferred the sound of the early Zum like this to the newer ones.
Take Care, good to hear from you, and have a very merry charistmas! _________________ Mark Twang |

I don’t play a D10, so I don’t need a D10, but right now I sure want a D10. LoL! That steel is just drop dead gorgeous!
Someone is going to get a new prized possession.

Just to clarify, the wood is Birdseye Maple, not Walnut.

I have owned the sister to this ZUM for many years, same color lacquer one SN away. These vintage ZUMs have fantastic tone and play as smoothly as any guitar on the market today. Also Bruce's lacquer cabinets are works of art. Someone is going to get a keeper. |
