I have an Emmons LeGrand II with a problem. Some of the knee levers do not return to true pitch. I live around Austin, TX. Does anyone know of anyone in Texas that repairs Emmons steels?

In Texas, call either Bobby Bowman in the Houston area; Steve Lamb in Ft Worth (Lambs Music); Gary Carpenter (Rains Steel Guitars) in Ft Worth...I agree that Jerry Roller does a great job outside of Texas.

You might persuade Herb Steiner to help you out. He lives southwest of Austin, not far from you. He's played those P/P's for years, he surely knows how to adjust them.
