Apparently, it has a C tuning and a G tuning.
Many years ago, at a big crawfish boil, I saw a great little Cajun band. The steel guitarist was playing one of those.
He was using a C6 tuning and an open G tuning...through a Fender Twin Reverb. Incredible playing and incredible tone. |

Hey Carl! It’s time for you to report back to us!
How are you liking the D6? What tunings have you tried or settled on? Sound sample?
Curious minds want to know. |

Love this guitar,i am the person that labeled the neck as i usually play open G and when i switch to C6 i sometimes forget where i am supposed to be,i think it may have something to do with the number on my birth certificate,Lol.
I am dealing with a little sitar sound? with both necks, the nuts and bridge are AOK.I am using a wound .018 for the 2nd string, going to change to .018 Plain this week,i think that may be the problem.
Other than that, this is a keeper.I will not be getting rid of this one.
Carl PS once i have cured the sitar i will try putting up a sound sample. _________________ I have a Tele plus telecaster, Larrivee acoustic.
