Contemplating selling my beloved dobro! I just don't pick it up like I thought I would. It does me no good sitting in the case. This is a world class Myrtle wood Appalchian squareneck. L body style has tons of volume and great balanced tone. I'd be asking 1600 for it.

And I suspect it sounds as good as it looks! _________________ Two Spector 5 string basses, Martin D-18, Taylor 812CE, 1996’Epiphone Sheraton, 1944 Epiphone Zenith, a killer Luttrell 6 string resophonic, 1932 Model 56 Dobro, Beard Model E, Martin Soprano Uke, 10 string 1953 Alkire Eharp, Peavey Nashville 112, Fender Bassman, Fender 75 watt Rumble, and a Fender 100 watt Rumble. |

More pics would certainly help. Also, what vintage is it? Or, in more broad terms, was it built by Tom, or by Tony? I'm guessing by Tom - it just looks like his style - The guitars I've seen by Tony (who trained with Tom and bought out the Appalachian name) are usually a bit more blinged out. But, while not heavy on bling, Tom's guitars are very famous for having superb tone. Disclaimer - I own a Tom Warner reso. Either way, I bet this sounds sweet! _________________ Bringing steel guitar to the bukid of Negros Oriental! |

It was a Tom Warner build. A magnificent piece but it did sell this past weekend locally. |
