Hi Jim,
I'd like to hear you analysis of both units after you've had some time working with the B9.
I've heard some say there's a click on the B9 that's not on the C9. I'd be curious to see if you can verify this at all.
I keep toying around the idea of getting one someday to use in church.

Okay! I finally put both pedals through their paces and decided I'd prefer to keep the B9. It wasn't an easy decision since they both have a few patches that I think are usable for my purposes but maybe a few more of them on the B9. In fact, I used to own a B9, then sold it to get the C9. That was a few years ago and, as of today, I'm favoring the B9. Go figure...
My thanks go to Rollin for offering to let me A:B them (well, really B:C them;  ) side-by-side before deciding.
To answer your question, Don, both pedals have a "Click" knob but I think that the B9 has more patches that actually use it for clicking. On both pedals when it's not used to increase/decrease the amount of click, it's reassigned to do something else (seems to shift the EQ in some cases, or add or change speed of tremolo in others). Ya just have to play with them all to figure out what it does for each patch and what works best for the kind of music or tunes you want to use them on.

I should add that I'm not crazy about the fact that some of the patches are not well balanced in terms of register and also some of them have certain notes that drop out earlier than the others which is not great if that's your melody note and you're trying to sustain it. This happens on certain patches on both pedals and I don't see it as a differentiator from one pedal to the other.
