What do ya'll think is the lowest pot pedal on the market? Pedal off/closed.
I have a knee that is arthritic and can't hold the position for more than a half hour and I have to straighten it out, get up or get off the pedal.
How much lower is the L120 v. the standard? How about that tiny Moyo Glenn offers? |

The MOYO is tiny but very easy to use. _________________ KEVIN MAUL: Airline, Beard, Clinesmith, Donner, Evans, Excel, Fender, Fluger, GFI, Gibson, Hilton, Ibanez, Justice, K+K, Live Strings, MOYO, National, Oahu, Peterson, Quilter, Rickenbacher, Sho~Bud, Supro, TC, Ultimate, VHT, Williams, X-otic, Yamaha, ZKing. |

Check the Telonics. They claim to be lower profile than others. |

Thanks for the replies so far. I've been watching the Moyo reviews over the years and it's certainly a possibility.
My issue is not only height, but also angle. Holding the knee in that position is not something I can do for very long without stretching the leg straight out.
I'm hip to the Telonics pedals Jack, but at this time, they're just out of my price range. [I should have held on the the Hilton as it was a little lower too.]
The ideal situation would be the remote controller method with the electronics in a leg clip on box.
Dave says that's something he can do, but again, quite a lot of expense.
The other thing I'm wondering about is reversing the pedal around with the nose under the heel v. toe. I'm going to experiment with that for a bit to see if it's more comfortable and if I can get used to the reverse action.
I can move the leads to the other side of the pedal and fab a cutout too as needed.
I have to do something or just quit using a volume pedal altogether. I know that's doable too or a cabinet mounted volume control ala Lew Houston.
I'm hoping for some good medical solutions for the knee down the road, but in the meantime, I have to figure something else. |

I bought a Moyo and am very pleased with it. To me, it's actually smaller than it appears in all the photos I've seen which is great. The pedal will stay in place if you take your foot off. One 'mod' I've made is I've put a couple of stick on cabinet bumpers to limit the off travel so there's always some volume. That way if I'm playing rhythm, I can just kick it down and leave it and then push the toe down for more volume for lead. No guesswork for my poor, old noggin to contend with . |

Fender pot pedal. Totally shielded, easiest to work on, one of the lowest and least "clunky" designs, and... no friction or spring adjustments to worry about! (It stays where you put it - first time, every time.)
I'm still using the one I bought in 1966. |
