Has anyone used the QUILTER INTERBLOCK 45 as a silent practice solution. Have a line on a used one and wondered if anyone has an opinion. This will be used plugged into a usb mixer and headphones only.

It sounds fine, but there are better alternatives. If you already have the amp situation covered, I'd suggest checking out a Strymon Iridium or Line 6 Hx Stomp.

If you're a die-hard Quilter fan, consider the SUPERBLOK US instead. Much more flexible piece of gear. For headphones, XLR out, powers a speaker cabinet, very functional preamp with reverb.....

The QUILTER INTERBLOCK 45 may not be the best choice for a headphone amp because there is no built-in reverb.
I use one as a back-up in case my Steelaire mode switch takes a crap again. It really sounds great on it's own but reverb really helps and you don't need 45 watts to power a headphone amp.

Thanks for the replies, I wound up buying a Tone Block 202 which seems to be pretty nice. Don’t have a cab for it yet but it sounds pretty good through my GK bass cab. Right now I have it plugged into my USB mixer and running headphones. Will probably pick up a cab at some point.
