Howdy friends!
First time poster but long time SGF reader. Your threads have been awesome and educational.
I wanted to share a pic of my current gigging setup. It's an unconventional approach to the art but does maintain respect to the fundamentals. I call it the Swamper Project. (I originally called it the Swamp Ass project, but it earned a very cold stare from the missus). Here's a pic of it in action:
I'm using a pair of Rondo SX steels. The bottom neck is an SX 2 with a strat single coil tuned to a six string E9 (D,E,F#,G#,B,E low to high) and the top neck is an SX8 tuned to C6 so I can lay down some honky tonk. I use a an A/B box to tie them into my volume and wah pedals and pump the sweetness into a Marshall CUBE100 combo with an additional external Marshall 2x12 cabinet. The CUBE amp offers digital modeling for all types of switchable pre/post amp and speaker combos as well as multiple effects. I plan on eventually replacing the 6 with an S10 set to a full Nashville/Emmons setup, but I gotta save my pennies for that one.
Thanks for having me!

Glad to. I'm out in Arizona on a trip right now, but I'll get some footage when I get back home.
