Looking at selling this historic, late 40’s early 50’s Double neck 8 String Rickenbacker lap steel.. Fitted with Brand new strings & tuned to E13 & C6th..The horseshoe pickups sound amazing and the guitar is in excellent shape… 1 owner, in home guitar…was purchased brand new by 16 yr old..almost 70 years ago, he’s 85 today…$1500. US plus shipping for this iconic piece of music history….Thanks again for looking…

| I received a post from another forumite….†I bought one of these earlier this year and I am very happy with the instrument. I paid a fair price which was $2,500.00 Australian. When you compare any electric guitar of this age, quality and heritage I think they represent very good value. My other guitars are getting jealous I'm sure.†|

I have a Tele plus telecaster, Larrivee acoustic. Also have a Fender resonator guitar with new Quarterman cone and spider, and an Allan tailpiece .Playing through a Fender Super Champ XD, using a little delay on the amp and a Harmonix Holy Grail Echo pedal, set on Hall turned to about 1pm.Just Bought a Yamaha FGX5 Recently and love it. Recently got a Sho-NUFF 6 string pedal steel in open G.Still learning. |
