the entire global supply chain is a complete wreck.
speaker magnets and baskets from from factories in Asia which have been operating at 20-30% capacity for nearly 2 years now. On top of that, shipping prices and a global container shortage are complicating things
its not just Eminence - its the entire electronics industry that has to deal with this. _________________ Milkmansound.com |

and, not just the electronics industry. it is everywhere including gas and food prices. some probably making up for lagging sales and others taking advantage of us coming out again.

Billions of $ have been printed over the last few years and virtually given away as stimulus packages, yes it has worked, everything is going up in price because of the devalued $ |

I can verify what Tim Marcus said. Two years ago a container of goods shipped from China was $4,000. When the covid hit it went to $8,000, $12,000, $17,000 and current price is $27,000.
I don't see this getting better any time soon ![Oh Well](images/smiles/icon_ohwell.gif) _________________ I survived the sixties! |

Little of column A of scarcity due to supply chain it has hit any manufacturing sector that relies on Asia.
Little of column B of the devaluation of the dollar due to inflation from the hyper printing of fiat currency in the past couple years for stimulus checks and other such spending. Prices have increased on all gear in the past few months as a result.
Some guitar manufacturuers 2021 new models are basically in limbo til 2022. I have a Jackson guitar that's been on back order for about 4 months and was told by zzounds "it's looking like early 2022 now." _________________ Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous; praise is meet for the upright. Give praise to the Lord with the harp, chant unto Him with the ten-stringed psaltery. Sing unto Him a new song, chant well unto Him with jubilation. For the word of the Lord is true, and all His works are in faithfulness. The Lord loveth mercy and judgement; the earth is full of the mercy of the Lord.

Speaking of Eminence speakers, I've never played or owned one. Would anyone care to compare a 15" Eminence to a JBL D130? _________________ Shobud Pro1,BMI U12, Santa Cruz F, PRS Standard, Fender Twin Reverb, ‘53 000-28 |
