I disconected the feel stop mechanism on the 2nd string 1/2 to full stop lower (RKR) a few years ago. I'd like to try using it again but I can't figure it out. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Heres a photo of the half stop assy on my former LEGRANDE.

www.tprior.com/TOny/halfstop.JPG

If you look at the photo over by the volume pot, you will see the rod going thru a mechanical stop thur a thumbwheel/spring assy.

The distance between the mechanical stop and the thumbwheel adjuster is the half stop.

Hope this helps. it should be similar if not the same as your Legrande II..I think..

I hope ..

Thanks Tony, I've got it working again.
Now I can get back to figuring out those hot "Rocky Top" licks by that guy on YouTube!

I just purchased a LeGrande III that had the 1/2 stop mechanism removed. When I was in process of putting it back on it occured to me that this guitar had a compensator bar which is locked solid so I put a 4 hole bellcrank on the compensator bar and attached the 1/2 stop swivel to it which eliminated the need for the "L" bracket. I just filled and flocked the holes and it is a really neat deal.
