Here's an olde tune from the archives featuring Keith Holter on lead guitar and Willy Williams, a former great steel player now on bass and vocal....with Dianna Dodge on drums.....giving their slant on an old pop song of the past.
I used the volume pedal on this one more than usual........but was satisfied with the sound produced. One can achieve just about any affect one wants as long as it's in good taste.
Here it 'tis:

Very nice, Ray!

Someone at a jam told me that when Jerry Byrd used a volume pedal it was turned around the other way. (so that heel back increased the volume) This has probably been discussed many times in non-pedal but, I found it really interesting.

I've always thought the volume pedal should have a spring in it, so that it returns to zero, like the pedals and knee levers.

I've heard that Speedy West used the same "backwards" volume pedal configuration.
