Gary does a lot of session work from his studio at home. From what I understand, he recently got married, and while he may do a few playing dates if they're not too far away, I think he's content to hang up the road life for awhile and do sessions and tracks from his house. |

Gary is the finest, most under-the-radar steeler on the planet. Such a great player, tone and intonation and taste in songs to die for. Go to his site and order his CD, unique chord voicings in everything he plays.
Check out the 3 songs on his YouTube channel:

I agree with what John said about Gary above !!

We need to turn the TWANG up a little
It's not what you play through, it's what you play through it.

Gary uses a Lawrence XR-16 on the E9th. Seems to me like he told me one time that he uses a 710 on the C6. |

A lot of Lloyd Green influence. Great technique and control. _________________ 1976 Birdseye U-12 MSA with Telonics 427 pickup, 1975 Birdseye U-12 MSA with Telonics X-12 pickup, Revelation preamp, Carbon Copy Delay and Hall Of Fame Reverb, Crown XLS 1002, 2- 15" Eminence Wheelhouse speakers, ShoBud Pedal, Effects Pedals. 1949 Epiphone D-8. |
