Want to know if a Fender Supersonic 60 watt tube type amp with a Celestion G12 speaker would be a good amp for pedal steel.[/list]

If you have to have tubes and the typical Fender tone, it should be fine for practice and small gigs. But if you play C6th very much, you might find the 60w power insufficient. I love the Fender tube sound, and used their tube amps for many years. But I eventually moved away from them due to the lack of a mid-shift for equalizing and better tone-sculpting.
