I've been getting a ton of ads for Quilter pedal board amps in my social media feeds lately, one is the Interblock 45. I have an original Ampeg B15N extension speaker cabinet, with around 45 watt power limitation, so a nice 45 watt amp is pretty appropriate. Cheap as chips, around $225. I read the thread about the Quilter 202 - lots of people like it a lot. What my question is - do you think there is a lot of family tone to the little guy, would it be a good pairing for my Ampeg vintage speaker? I have to mail-order it, there's no store around to go look and or listen to one. |

Take a good look at the Quilter Superblock (US voicing) in the same price range. Low powered amp and pre-amp pedal, about 6.5 x 4.5 x 1" works great with a low-power rated speaker cabinet or straight into XLR mixer. |

That would be my suggestion too. Its Quilter's "latest and greatest" small "pedal board" amp. |

I have an IB45 and it sounds great for lower-ish volumes. Cheaper than the new superblocks as well. As a guitar amp its great all-around. Used you can get them for $150-180. _________________ Williams Keyless D10

I recently purchased Interblock 45. So far I'm impressed with the sound I'm getting from it at most any volume. I'm using a Wampler Tumnus 3knob overdrive and sometimes a compressor or boost pedal into an Eminence EPS-15c speaker.I use this for lap steel guitars. I got mine from a local shop in Wheatridge, CO and they are selling them for $200.00 plus $10.00 shipping on their Reverb site. Here's a link:
