I had a D-10 with that same color combination. I used it on a ton of records and loved it. Sadly it went up in smoke in 2011.

Wow very good deal here an parts for Carter steels are available.
You could easily play this Beautiful Carter steel as ten string for awhile then add the eleventh bass string E later add then b note later.
Kinda like taking the training wheels off a bike.
Most pro players will admit that they wish they had started on 12 string. |
