This is the pedal that the multi-hundred-thousand-dollar Dumble amp owners use when they can't bring their Dumble amp to a gig...singing, violin tone.

The maker is no longer making them - an ugly divorce shut down production. So there won't be any more. And the more recent units seem to have a lot of problems, according to forum posts.

Alfonso Hermida went back to the Old School thru-hole, film cap, carbon 1/4 watt resistor Zendrive version for 2016.. Holy SMOKES! Sounds like those originals that sell for many thousands of dollars...this one is a 2018 build, so it is right in the sweet spot for production/cost.

Erv-
It is an overdrive, meant to sound like a Dumble running full bore into power stage distortion which is a very melodic, "angels singing" kind of tone...

I use one of these with my lap steel through an Origin Slide Rig compressor and it’s David Lindley magic…
