I looked for the answer before I posted here and didn't find it but I was wondering if the CS is light enough to be carried as "carry on" luggage on an airplane. I travel overseas quite a bit and don't want to risk checking my good D-10 just to have something to practice on while I'm gone. If anyone has done this or thinks it may work I would really like to know.
Thanks in advance guys.

I don't think it is the weight issue as much as it is the size in the case. Where would you put it as a carry on ?

If they let it on the plane at all there are a couple places it can fit in the cabin. You can put it in the garment closet (if you have way to hang it up it helps). Also there are a couple spaces behind the seats. Be prepared to check it.

Considering the carry on restrictions now in place I would be supperised if they would let you carry a peace that large on. I had a Fender S10 at one time and it's wright was 40 lbs in the case. Forget the over head compartment. Recently I have noticed they were restricting most every thing above a computer or brief case or a small bag on wheels. Now with the London incident, a bottle of water is even questioned.
