Ron, the Blackbox needs to see the impedance of the pickup, so it needs to be first in the chain.

Hey Ron,
Guitar out to Black Box in. Black Box out to volume pedal in. Then out of volume pedal onto the rest of your stuff.
Hope that helps.

Ron, I have the Telonic's VP as well with the Black Box... the Black Box still makes a difference... I'm also using a Benado Steel Dream and there's still a difference... A nice difference.

You're going to think this is crazy, BUT... I went to John McClung's a couple weeks ago and didn't pay enough attention on how I unhooked everything, which I just about NEVER do... Anyhow, since then I've been remolding/reconfiguring my Studio, and haven't attempted to put it all back together... Hopefully in the next day or two, I will have that remedied, and IF I do, I'll let you know how I did it.

Here's how I'm hooking up with the Black Box AND the Benado

Guitar > Black Box input
BB Output > Input on Benado
Benado Level (beside Repeats) > Amp Input
Benado Level (beside Input Gain) > Input on VP
Benado Repeats > Output VP

If there's another better way with a Black Box please let me know... At one time I think I went a different way.
