I think Lone Star uses a state of Texas badge on the front left.

That piece of art is a STAR pedal steel ~ also made in Texas, but it is a different manufacturer than Lone Star.

It is beautiful. Anyone know how to contact Star? Can't seem to find anything on 'em anywhere. I think the photos were from one of the shows a while ago. Thanks..

That Guitar ( Star) is built byMark Giles in cahoots with Albert Talley, in Hamilton TX.
Great guitar, the Machining is done by Mr agan, Trinidad Tx, E-mail: sharonagan@dctexas.net,

it is gorgious, and I hear it plays and sounds

I believe Mark Giles builds cabinets for Carter and maybe a few others.

Thanks to Jim Flynn and the rest of you for the kind words. Here are a couple of more art peices I just finished for Star Steels. With any luck, they may have them ready for St. Louis. Go by their booth at Scotty's and check them out.

I took the top two pics of the star guitar at the dallas show ( sunburst ) and it plays and sounds as good as it looks.I have one on order now.
