I’d like to explore this tuning. Can anyone point me to some YouTubes or material? Seems to not be as much on E tunings compared to C6 and A6, or I’m just not looking hard enough.

Around the 50 second mark in Cowell's video is the z-shaped position that lets you "emulate" the most basic E9th pedal steel sounds. You can do so many basic A & B pedal licks out of that pocket! |
