Have the necks been replaced before? Do you have a few pictures of the underside? Were they wooden necks at one time?

This is a very interesting guitar to say the least. Has anyone else noticed the push-pull bolt-on tail pieces? I bet it sounds incredible!

I have a similar LLG III ST-10 and it has really great tone.

Ron Lashley Jr. must have built them around the same time I guess. He told me that he was working on this new design around the time I was there at the Emmons factory around 2010 getting some hands-on training

Here is a link from right after my friend, Tom Palmer acquired the guitar from me.

https://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=307932&highlight=emmons

Sadly, Tom passed away soon after that and his son, Franklin inherited his guitars and equipment. Even more sadly, Franklin passed away at the end of last year. I was able to buy back this LLG III from his widow, Christy, so I now own it again.

This is the first Emmons I've seen with matte finish on the End Plates and Necks.
Pedal bar and pedals, too?

Am I seeing this correctly?

Nice guitar, tho'!

Curious to me too is the dark grey finish of alum parts up top. Does it look/feel like a dark anodized treatment? Thx John. It's truly a rare bird.

Very unusual anodized finish on aluminum parts.

Are there other Emmons guitars out there with that finish?

Curious!

Sharp eye there Lynn, I wouldn’t have noticed. Yes, very unusual guitar, probably one of a kind. Bet it does sound great.
