We got it free,, Tone generator not working[ power amp is], so we are just going to dismantle it.Not worth fixing.
There is an 2x EL 84 power amp section with 5Y3 rectifier that seems to work ok... Powers up, all tubes glow, and if you hit the reverb tank, that familiar loud crash comes through the 2 x 12 speakers..
For sale cheap, not sure what this stuff is worth, but I know a lot of guys turn them into guitar amps.. The hammond reverb tank would come with it I guess,, There are 2 nice Heppner 16 ohm alnico speakers in there that would make a great 8 ohm guitar cab.. I understand some old Fender amps used Heppner speakers and they were equivalent with, CTS, Oxford, Rola, Jensen speakers that Fender used. I read the Heppners are very good vintage guitar amp speakers.
Anything else thats useful I would let go cheap as well, if you know whats in there and can use it... I can ship of course, but please remember shipping is going through the roof, and if anyone can use this stuff, it must be worth my while to dig it out of the organ, and ship it.. Lots of old originial tubes from the 60's,- all say Hammond but are most likely RCA or similar with HAMMOND stenciled in orange.. Let me know of any interest, and we can work out a good deal,,, bob _________________ I'm over the hill and hittin'rocks on the way down!

Might be an L-100 series.
I have one with all the same features. |

Are you sure the generator isn’t just stuck? I’ve fixed two old M3 Hammonds like that. Lighter fluid followed by oil in the cups. One required a small rope around the axel to get it moving the first time. Both worked great! |

The tubes in the amp section stay in the amp.. There are acbunch of other preamp tubes, but I need to find out what they are and how desirable.. they might all be worthless for guitar amps, not sure as yet...
I might have offended a guy with a price, but as I said, I have NO idea what a hammond tube amp project is worth.. I have sold several other project tube amps with all tube PA amps, tube audio amps, even the tube powered audio amp from a film projector, and got a fair buck for all of them. I dunno, is $100 for the amp and reverb tank a fair price, or is that too high????. problem is, it won't be light and shipping is out of sight these days... Let me know... btw, these speakers typically sell around $50 a set or better plus shipping.. I can let them go for $30 for the set, but again, shipping is going to be more than the actual speakers... It might just be better trying to off load this stuff locally... bob _________________ I'm over the hill and hittin'rocks on the way down!
