June 14th & 15th marks the 25th anniversary of
the 1996 June jam in Labanon,TN.
This post is to pay tribute & honer to
Jeff & Fran Newman for all they have done for us.
Where would we be without Jeff’s teachings.
I find it it very powerful and spiritual that
twenty five years and two months later Paul Franklin
is hosting steel camp.
About a month ago very early one morning
I was praying in the spirit and I spoke
the name (JUBAL). and it shook me.
I knew it was a biblical name so I got up and
opened my Strongs Bible concordance and
found it. Genesis 4:21 Please look it up
and read it for your self.
So then I looked the name up in my Webster
dictionary for true meaning and found that
The name also means JUBILEE.
JUBILEE means TWENTH FIFTH ANNIVERSARY;
then it hit me the, THE TWENTY FIFTH ANNIVERSARY
OF THE 1996 JUNE JAM & THE PAUL FRANKLIN
STEEL CAMP IS ,
Same month twenty five years & two months apart.
Thank you Jeff, thank you Paul. For all y’all have done.
Well as Jeff would say at the end of most of his videos;
It’s your turn.

Hey folk’s I made a typographical error;
Genesis 4:21 is correct.
NOT 4: 12.
Sorry for the mixup.

I went to a couple of Jeff's June Jams. What an incredible show of steel guitar. Junior Brown stopped by on his bus and sat in for a few. Johnny Cox was playing bass and then sat down at every pedal steel on stage and demonstrated his remarkable ability to play them all. I was mesmerized by the talent on that stage. Jeff sure knew how to party. What a memorable experience.

I was at the June Jam you refer to, while attending Jeff's Top Gun school. Long, long, time ago!
