Maple cabinet with a coating to the under side for appearance and protection. Some have used flocking, some use a clear finish, ShoBud used a thick paint. |

Thank you Doug. Every cabinet that has ever been built, for a Justice Steel Guitar, is Hard Rock Maple.
The sealer on the underside is much like what Sho~Bud used on all their cabinets.
Jon, I hope this put your mind at ease. _________________ Email: azpedalman@gmail.com

All of our cabinets are hard rock maple with primer and a textured paint to protect the wood. Thanks for posting the question and letting me clear up the confussion.

The Hard Rock Maple cabinet is wonderful and helps produce a beautiful tone. I love my Justice! |

Thanks all. I sorts figured it wasn’t MDF being the two photos were different shades.
Very cool look it creates.
