Justice Pedal steel cabinet, is it MDF or Sold Maple

Hey Folks,

I was looking at a justice steel in the for sale section and a few pictures from the justice website and the cabinet looks like MDF, but the justice website says its Solid Maple.

Are they maple with some sort of coating?

I'm a bit curious about why and what is going on with these.

Does look like MDF to me also.

Maple cabinet with a coating to the under side for appearance and protection. Some have used flocking, some use a clear finish, ShoBud used a thick paint.

Thank you Doug. Every cabinet that has ever been built, for a Justice Steel Guitar, is Hard Rock Maple.
The sealer on the underside is much like what Sho~Bud used on all their cabinets.

All of our cabinets are hard rock maple with primer and a textured paint to protect the wood. Thanks for posting the question and letting me clear up the confussion.
