That is really cool. I was working there then. Emmons didn't sell direct back then. Only to dealers. You had to order from one of them. Big Ron's policy. He just wanted to be a manufacturer. I have heard of other Emmons guitars with no serial #, I believe this issue was one of several that lead to Buddy parting ways with the company. I noticed the Invoice doesn’t have one either. |

If the dealers were servicing the guitars, I wonder who would have had possession of the infamous "factory cards" to note the work done on the instruments? |
