This beautiful guitar has had a complete overhaul. Taken apart piece by piece. The body was stripped and prepped for a new laquer finish by Clay Alden from Nashville who also does finishing for MSA . Cleaned and polished to a high luster to be brought back to new condition. Henry Matthews had the task of putting this guitar back together and setting it up where it plays so easy. Eight pedals five knee levers set up Emmons. Brand new double case comes with it.I think the guitar is more beautiful than when new and has that great pushpull sound. Definitely a collectors item. $4500 plus shipping Thanks Gene.

What a beautiful guitar. It’s only the 2nd PP I’ve ever seen with that color finish, & I really like it. What’s the finish called? |

Tony, sorry I m not sure what they call it. It’s in the red family for sure. I’ll ask Clay, he had one finished in that color and I told him I liked it. |

Yes, what an awesome guitar this is, not only in looks but tone wise. Had couple my buddies that are Emmons set up players come by and play the guitar and both were just in awe how the guitar sounded and played. The pickups are both about 14.8k on this guitar. The guitar is normal height now but if any you short guys interested, can be lowered 1inch simply by removing spacers on legs and screwing in pedal rods.
Guitar is a fat back of which I prefer in those Emmons years. The guitar has the metal running along both aprons. Don’t know the purpose of it, maybe cabinet drop of which this guitar has almost zero even on a meter.
The finish is unbelievable and is worthy of just looking at and drooling, lol. _________________ Henry Matthews

I so wanted to add this guitar to my arsenal of Emmons! Fat Backs Crram of the Crop and its RED which means it’s absolutely a dream!
It sure would’ve looked good with my 82 PP!
