I like this Peterson Stroboclip a lot. Sometimes doesn’t work as well on loud stages with subs. I loaded a few of the sweetened steel presets on it from the Peterson website. Love it and would buy it again in a heartbeat if this one gets lost.

I u8se one of those. Have my programs loaded in it. I have a Keyed steel and clip it on the keyhead of either E9th or C6th and works for both.

Another Strobo clip HD user. Used the regular Peterson clip on before that.

Snark

Inexpensive

Works great

I just clip it on the rear apron, near the tuning keys.

Yep, I just got a Boss TU-02 Clip On Tuner, and seems to be fairly accurate, and easy to read.
I’ve been clipping it on the tuning head.

Thanks for the reply’s .

TC unitune. I tune ET, anything beyond that I do by ear so I don't used sweetened settings (even though I've got a stroboflip). It's very accurate and easy to use. I clip it to a leg. (The right leg fwiw but I don't think it matters.) Works great in a loud setting.

It's worth pointing out that Peterson makes a low cost adapter cable/pickup that will enable you to use *any* tuner as a clip-on. It's called the Peterson TP3 Clip-On Tuner Pickup. They also make a version called the PitchGrabber that will plug into your smartphone's headphone jack if you have a tuning app.

I have one of each.

I have a pitch grabber from Peterson attached to the left rear leg of the steel and used with a phone app G-strings. Seems to work good.
