Just FYI, that fretboard 'wear' is actually standard, but for a few exceptions. Google up some images and you'll see that treatment on most Rics. So you can consider that to be factory original. |

It’s quite nice and quite rare too, Tony. How long have you had it? Can you read a serial # stamped on the top of its peghead? (Should start off with a ‘C’- etc). Jon L. is correct about the bevel at the neck base. Does a Pat # appear stamped below the bass side thumbwheel, onto the pickup mounting tang? Or is it stamped “Pat Pend� Just curious to narrow its build date. Thx |

It actually sold almost immediately on eBay. I've had it for about 8 years, as I recall, but remain more of a spanish player. I already packed it up, but the serial number as I recall was in the 300s, and the metal parts were stamped Pat. Pend. Thanks to you both for the info on the "wear" on the fingerboard! |
