I fought wearing them for a couple of years,i felt i " had " to feel the strings, but also knew i was lacking the tone quality i was wanting.
I made up my mind-30- 45 minutes a day, practicing for a week.It was not good, but after week 2,i didnt feel right trying to play without them.
I wish i had just done it from day 1.

I don't use picks. I tried and hated how difficult it was with them and how fun it was without them. I rarely look back, but when I do I might put on a thumb pick, or I might not. Finger picks are like trying to walk in high heels, some people are awesome at it, but they're not for me.
