Hey George,
FWIW,
I have both, and there's not hardly any difference in them. The EPS does have the silver cone. My electronic guru said that the specs are almost identical. I like 'em both and will take either with no qualms!
All the best,

Thanks,Pat. I have to have a neo speaker in my Evans SE 200 to keep the weight manageable. I have the eps-15c in it now and a JBL D-130 in a speaker cabinet for my Trace Elliott Elf head. I was thinking about putting a TT-15 in the Evans if there would be a significant sound improvement and replacing the JBL in the speaker cabinet with the eps-15c
It sounds like I should just stay with what I've got. |

I had 2 EPS 15's and swapped them for 2 TT-15's... when I looked at the chart showing the eq of both the EPS and the TT, I thought, "This may have been a mistake, cause on the graph they look pretty close"... I was WRONG!!!... RARE as that is, the TT to me was Superior... The EPS although a good speaker, for me had some weirdness in it, that 2-3 years removed wouldn't be able to put my finger on what that was now. But for me the TT didn't have any weirdness. It's just very even, clean and well balanced. _________________ Dale Rottacker, Steelinatuneā¢

I have both. They're both good speakers. I agree with Dale that the TT-15 sounds more balanced. The EPS 15-C's highs sound more pronounced to me, whereas the TT-15's highs are smoother. The TT-15's seems to have a little more midrange, but the mids aren't honky, and it's EQ-able. I haven't used the EPS since I bought the TT-15. |
