I am selling my Gibson lap Steel Guitar which I have had for a very long time. I don't really know how much to ask for it but I think it's a 1937 vintage. I don't know how to post some pictures of it so any help in that area would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you so much for your very kind words Charlie. Next time I'm in the Mt. Pleasant area of S.C. I will look you up and we can have a few Cocktails. I believe the Amp you purchased from Big Ben originally belonged to Alan Howlington, another Great Guy !

I think this is the nicest Gibson lap steel that I've seen... Very surprised it hasn't sold yet! |

Thank you for the compliments Troy ! I am surprised it hasn't sold yet myself. It's truly the best example of a 1937 E150 that I've seen as well. The condition and Tone of this guitar are unbelievable. I think it could have fallen to far below the list of guitars for sale and I should put it back to the top. I can't really discount it much more than it is but I would like to sell it. The screw that's missing on the back can be very easily be replaced so I know that's not the problem.
Would like to get it back to the top but I'm not sure how to do that.
Thanks so much again Troy. |

You just did - and so did I. Each time someone posts a comment to your ad, it bumps it up to the top. You will see people comment on theirs, or others ads nothing but, "To The Top" or "TTT" or just "bump" to accomplish this. But nothing stays at the top spot for long - too many adverts, too active a forum. As long as its on the first page, it gets noticed. Probably the first two pages. So don't over-do the bumping! Good luck on the sale! _________________ Bringing steel guitar to the bukid of Negros Oriental! |
