If I can't find one, I'm thinking about selling my Williams s10 3x5 and my excel uni sd12 8x5
But I'm not looking forward to being without a steel while I wait on a new one. I figured it couldn't hurt to cast the net. |

When I joined this forum less than ten years ago I learned, or had the impression that I had learned, that the pedal steel is in terminal decline, the universal will never catch on and the 14-string never really existed.
The reality is that new members seem to pop up almost daily, as do wanted ads for unis, and now here is Phil asking about a 14. Magnificent! _________________ Make sleeping dogs tell the truth!

I have a Sierra 14 8&7 with several extra pickups I am thinking about selling. Silver cloud I think it is called, ez wheel case, second generation keyless 25in scale.Stafford elegante. They seem to be made better than other Sierras, I have had several. I think it is a 1992 or 93. |

If you are thinking of selling it Gary, let me know.
I am just getting the courage up to take pics and sell off my Williams 700 series S-10 3x5 and my Excel sd-12 8x5 uni to make the cash to order an S-14 from Excel.
I just picked up a gig on may 28th though, so I need to have at least one steel for that.
Maybe I will post mine for sale after that and then order.
Super scary, but exciting. |

Another thing I have to consider is weight. I am 43, but I had a bad motorcycle accident 9 years ago and walk with a cane, and I can lift either of my steels and walk if necessary with the cane.
How much does that Stafford Elegante weigh in the case? |

Check out BMI. They have a 14 string model. Great guitars, built well. Made to last. Google Beck Musical Instruments. _________________ Steeless. |

I’m also interested in this if you’re considering selling. |

Phil,
Who makes that case? Does it have wheels? I'd love to have one made for my Williams. _________________ 2016 Williams D12 8 x 8, 2015 Williams D12 8 x 8, 2023 Williams S12 4 x 5, Milkman Amps, 1974 Gibson Byrdland |

Steve, it does have wheels, and I'm not sure although I think I saw the answer in another new excel thread. Some Chinese company. I really love the case. And I really love the steel too. I'm hanging on to my Williams for now, although it hasn't gotten much love since the 14 arrived. |
