Has anyone ever installed a PF400 speaker into a Nashville 400,or a Quilter Steelaire ? Pro's,con's ? _________________ S10 GFI ULTRA,Peavey Powerslide,Quilter Steelaire amp,Nashville 400 amp. |

Kevin..have not tried a 'PF400' in either unit so cannot state any "pros" but one definite "con". For me personally, the tone improvement would need to be considerable before I would even consider replacing the factory speaker with one that weighs in at nearly 23#, (essentially adding an extra 6 pounds to the '400' and around 15 pounds to the 'Steelaire'). |

Kevin, This is what I did and it worked great. Go to MOJO Tone , click on Cabinets , then click on Baffle Converters . Find the one for a Nashville 400 that will convert from a 15" to a 12" . Call them if you need help. Once you get the 15" speaker out, it's a piece of cake installing the new baffle and 12' speaker. I really like my PF 12" speaker and I have a 12" Travis Toy speaker in another amp and I like it too. Hope this helps |
